About UsDNA2.0 was founded in early 2003 to exploit the synergy between a highly efficient gene synthesis process and new protein optimization technologies. The massive amounts of publically available genomic information can be condensed using our ProteinGPS™ algorithm into mathematical rules on how proteins function. These rules are subsequently converted into physical entities using our efficient DNA-2-Go™ process. DNA2.0 is a major US provider of synthetic genes, and a leader in gene synthesis technologies. Since DNA2.0 was founded in 2003, we have provided genes to thousands of customers, for whom we have synthesized a total of ~20 million base pairs.
Our customers tell us that the things that they value most about our service are the individual Ph.D.-level support they receive from our sales and support staff and the speed with which genes are synthesized and delivered. This combination ensures that our customers order genes that have exactly the properties they want, and then receive those genes extremely fast. Our customers are evenly distributed between biotechnology companies, academia and large pharmaceutical and chemical companies. Half of our customers are on the US coasts and a quarter are in Europe, but we also ship many genes to the Midwest, Asia, and Australia. Our customers consistently rate us ‘Very Good’ in customer satisfaction; our best measure of this is the large number of new customers who come to us through referals from colleagues.
